How do muscles attached to vocal cords regulate sound?
The muscles attached to the vocal cords can expand and contract, thus making them tight and loose. When the vocal cords are tight, the type or quality of voice is different from that when these are loose. By this, the muscles attached to vocal cords help in changing the sound produced by humans.
