How do plants help to make Newspaper ?


Paper is manufactured from plants. The plants are ground into pulp. The pulp is dried and bleached. It is further processed to remove most of the cellular material except cellulose.

At end of the process the manufactured paper consists of cellulose only. Cellulose is a type of sugar molecule formed into fibers of plant cell wall which makes the plant cells tougher.
