How did magnet form?

All the magnets have north and south poles. Opposite or unlike poles are attracted to each other, while the same or like poles repel each other.

When you rub a piece of iron with a magnet, the north-seeking poles of the atoms in the iron line up in the same direction.

The force produced by the aligned atoms creates a magnetic field and the piece of iron becomes a magnet.
