How can we tell which body is travelling faster or slower by looking at their distance-time graphs?

In a distance-time graph, the distance is generally plotted along the Y-axis and the time is plotted along the X-axis

The graph is generally a straight line or a curve. If the straight is going up in an inclined manner it can be a constant positive velocity and if it is curve going up there is positive acceleration and the velocity is increasing.

The slope of a line or curve at a point in a distance-time graph gives the speed or velocity of the body in motion.

Greater the slope, faster is the body and smaller the slope, slower is the body.

By comparing the slopes at a point on the graphs we can tell which body is traveling faster or slower.
