How can one tap Geothermal Energy?
Geothermal energy is the energy that is produced inside the earth. Since that energy won't exhaust, it is a renewable source of energy. It is possible to capture Geothermal energy in the following ways.
1) Geothermal power plants
These power plants make use of the heat inside the earth to generate steam, using which electricity is produced.
2) Geothermal heat pumps
These pumps capture heat near the earths surface. This heat is used to provide heat to the buildings or to heat water required for daily use.
