Grouping of books helps a librarian. Justify the statement

Classification is a method of grouping, in which we place similar things together in one group according to its physical appearance, texture, nature of origin, etc.

Following are the benefits of classification:

(a) It gives a systematic knowledge of different things.

(b) It tells us how different members of different groups differ from each other.

Example: Arrangement of books in a library. In a library, books on the same subject are placed together, so that it will not be difficult to locate them.
