Given :
Given that the horizontal distance is 4 units and the vertical distance is 3 units.
To do :
We have to find the values of a and b.
Solution :
The horizontal distance is 4 units and the vertical distance is 3 units.
Therefore,
$B(-1,b) = (-1,3)$
On comparing both sides, we get,
$b = 3$.
$A(a,0) = (4,0)$
On comparing both sides, we get,
$a = 4$
The value of a is 4 and b is 3.
