Given one example each of the characters that are inherited and the ones that are acquired in humans. Mention the difference between the inherited and the acquired characters.
An example of the characters that are inherited are the color of an eye, natural hair color, natural hair texture, etc. while the characters that are acquired are bodyweight.
The difference between the inherited and acquired character is that inherited characters are passed from one generation to another as these changes are linked with DNA. Thus, these characters are passed from parent to offspring and remain with an individual for a lifetime.
Acquired characters are acquired by an organism during his lifetime, based on lifestyle.
