Give some examples of metals, metalloids and non-metals.â€Å
Some examples of Metals include Gold, Silver, Iron, Copper, Nickel, Aluminum, Mercury( Liquid metal), Aluminium, sodium, Potassium, Magnesium.
Non Metals: There are a total of Seventeen elements that are classified as nonmetals in the Periodic Table.
These constitute mostly gases (hydrogen, helium, nitrogen, oxygen, fluorine, neon, chlorine, argon, krypton, xenon and radon); one is a liquid (bromine); and a few are solids (carbon, phosphorus, sulfur, selenium, and iodine).
Metalloid: The six commonly recognised metalloids are boron, silicon, germanium, arsenic, antimony, and tellurium. carbon, aluminium, selenium, polonium, and astatine.
