The difference between regeneration and fragmentation are as follows:

Regeneration	Fragmentation
It is the process of asexual reproduction where an organism regenerates into the lost body part.	It is the process of asexual reproduction where each fragment grows to develop into an individual organism.
In this process, no new organism is formed.	In this process, each fragment develops into a new organism.
Regeneration is seen in both vertebrates and invertebrates.	It is observed only in invertebrates.
