Find using appropriate property

$ \frac{-2}{5} \times \frac{3}{2}+\frac{5}{2}-\frac{2}{5} \times \frac{6}{2} $

SOLUTION:

According to BODMAS, multiplication must be done before addition

While multiplying fractions we can just multiply the numerators and denominators directly

So $\frac{-2}{5}\times\frac{3}{2} = \frac{-6}{10}$.

So we can simplify it as $(\frac{-2}{5}\times\frac{3}{2})+\frac{5}{2} +(\frac{-2}

{5}\times\frac{6}{2}$)

= $\frac{-6}{10}+\frac{5}{2} + \frac{-12}{10}$

=  $\frac{-6}{10}-\frac{12}{10}+\frac{5}{2} = \frac{-18}{10}+\frac{5}{2}$

= $\frac{-18}{10} + \frac{25}{10}$

= $\frac{7}{10}$

Therefore, the solution of the expression is $\frac{7}{10}$
