Find two rational number between $\frac{1}{2}$ and $\frac{1}{3}$.
Given: Two rational numbers $\frac{1}{2}$ and $\frac{1}{3}$.
To do: To find tworational numbers between $\frac{1}{2}$ and $\frac{1}{3}$.
Solution:
$\frac{1}{2}\times \frac{3}{3} $ and $\frac{1}{3}\times \frac{2}{2} $
$=\frac{3}{6},\ \frac{2}{6}$
$\frac{3}{6}\times \frac{4}{4},\ \frac{2}{6}\times \frac{4}{4} $
$=\frac{12}{24},\ \frac{8}{24}$
Therefore, two rational no. between $\frac{1}{2} $ and $\frac{1}{3} $ are: $\frac{13}{24}$ and $\frac{7}{12}$.
