d. $(-14)\ -\ (-3)$

To find: Here we have to find the value of the given expressions $3\ -\ (-4)$, $(-7)\ -\ (-2)$, $(-15)\ -\ (-8)$ and $(-14)\ -\ (-3)$.



Solution:

a. $3\ -\ (-4)$

= $3\ +\ 4$

= $7$

b. $(-7)\ -\ (-2)$

= $-\ 7\ +\ 2$

= $-\ 5$

c. $(-15)\ -\ (-8)$

= $-\ 15\ +\ 8$

= $-\ 7$

d. $(-14)\ -\ (-3)$

= $-\ 14\ +\ 3$

= $-\ 11$
