Find the sum of $\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{3}+\frac{1}{4}$.

Given:

$\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{3}+\frac{1}{4}$.

To do:

We have to find the sum of $\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{3}+\frac{1}{4}$.

Solution:

$\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{3}+\frac{1}{4}=\frac{1\times6+1\times4+1\times3}{12}$  (LCM of 2, 3 and 4 is 12)
$=\frac{6+4+3}{12}$
$=\frac{13}{12}$

Therefore,

$\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{3}+\frac{1}{4}=\frac{13}{12}$.
