Solution;
Let y be the reciprocal of $\frac{-7}{9}$ .

Product of $\frac{-7}{9}$ and y = 1

-$\frac{7}{9}\times$  y = 1

So y = 1 $\times \frac{-9}{7}$    =$\frac{-9}{7}$   

So reciprocal of $\frac{-7}{9}$ is $\frac{-9}{7}$
