Find the ratio of the following:200 m to 2 km.
Given :
200 m to 2 km
To find :
We have to find the ratio.
Solution :
We know that,
$1 km = 1000 m$
This implies,
$2 km = 2 \times 1000 m = 2000 m$
Therefore,
$200 m : 2 km = 200 m : 2000 m$
$= 1 : 10$.
Therefore, the ratio of 200 m to 2 km is 1 : 10.
