Find the product of $ab(a+b)$ and evaluate it for a=2 and b=1.

 Given:

The value of a=2 and b =1.

To find:   

The product $ab(a+ b)$ 

Solution:

$ab \times (a+ b)$  ;  a = 2 ; b = 1

Substitute a = 2 ; b = 1 in  $ab\times (a+b)$

$ab \times (a+ b) = 2 \times 1 \times (2 + 1)$

                 =  2 $\times$ (3)  =  6

$ ab \times(a+ b)  =  6$.
