To find: Here we have to find the product of ($-$3) and the negative reciprocal of $1\frac{1}{2}$.

Solution:

$1\frac{1}{2} \ =\ \frac{3}{2}$

Negative reciprocal of $\frac{3}{2}$ = $\frac{-2}{3}$

Now,

($-$3) $\times$ Negative reciprocal of $1\frac{1}{2}$

$=\ -3\ \times\ \frac{-2}{3}$

$=$ 2

So, the answer is 2.
