Find the mean of first five multiples of 3.

Given:

First five multiples of 3.

To do:

We have to find the mean of first five multiples of 3.

Solution:

We know that,

Mean $=\frac{Sum\ of\ the\ observations}{Number\ of\ observations}$

First five multiples of 3 are 3, 6, 9, 12 and 15.

Therefore,

Mean $=\frac{3+6+9+12+15}{5}$

$=\frac{45}{5}$

$=9$

Hence, the mean of the first five multiples of 3 is $9$.
