Given: Total surface area of cube is 600cm sq
To do: Find the length of the side of a cube.
Solution:
The total surface area of a cube of an edge 'a' units is = $6a^{2}$ square units
Given total surface area of a cube = $6a^{2}$ = 600
$a^{2} = \frac{600}{6}$ = 100 square cm
Taking square roots on both sides of the equation.
So, side or edge of the cube, a = 10 cm
