We have to find the lateral surface area and total surface area of the cube.
Solution:
Edge of the cube $(s) = 10\ cm$
Lateral surface area of the cube $= 4s^2$
$= 4 \times (10)^2$
$= 4 \times 100$
$= 400\ cm^2$
Total surface area of the cube $= 6s^2$
$= 6 \times (10)^2$
$= 6 \times 100$
$= 600\ cm^2$
