Find the height of the triangle whose base length is $22 cm$ and area is $170.5 cm^2$.

Given :

The base of the triangle (b) $= 22 cm$.

The area of the triangle (A) $=170.5 cm^2$.

To find :

We have to find the height(h) of the triangle.

Solution :

The area of the triangle with base 'b' and height 'h' is given by,

$A= \frac{1}{2} \times b \times h$

$170.5 = \frac{1}{2} \times 22 \times h$

$170.5 = 11 \times h$

$h = \frac{170.5}{11}$

$h = 15.5 cm$

Therefore, the height of the triangle is 15.5 cm.
