Solution:

We know that,

Perimeter of a square of side $s$ is $4s$.

Perimeter of the farm $=4\times150\ m$

$=600\ m$

Cost of fencing $1\ m$ of land $=Rs.\ 16$.

Cost of fencing the entire farm with 1 row of barbed wire$=Rs.\ 16\times$ Perimeter of the farm

$=Rs.\ 16\times600$

$=Rs.\ 9600$

Cost of fencing the entire farm with 3 rows of barbed wire$=Rs.\ 9600\times3=Rs.\ 28800$

Total cost of fencing the square farm with three rows of barbed wire is Rs. 28800.
