Find the circumference of circles whose radii are
1. 28 cm
2. 10.5 cm
3. 3.5 cm

Given :

Radii of circles are

i) 28 cm          ii) 10.5 cm         iii) 3.5 cm

To find :

Circumference of Circle

Solution :

Formula to find the Circumference of Circle = 2πr

i) r = radius = 28 cm

2 π r  =  $2\times \frac{22}{7} \times28$

          =  $2\times22\times4$

          =  176 cm.

Circumference of the circle with radius 28 cm is 176 cm.

ii)  r = radius = 10.5 cm

2 π r  =  $2\times \frac{22}{7} \times10.5$

          =  $2\times22\times1.5$

          =  66 cm.

Circumference of the circle with radius 10.5 cm is 66 cm.

iii) r = radius = 3.5 cm

2 π r  =  $2\times \frac{22}{7} \times3.5$

          =  $2\times\frac{22}{2}$

          =  22 cm.

Circumference of the circle with radius 3.5 cm is 22 cm.
