Find the circumference of circle whose diameter is $17.5\ cm$. [Take $\pi=\frac{22}{7}$].

Given: Diameter of a circle is $17.5\ cm$.

To do: To find the circumference of circle.

Solution:

Diameter of circle $( d)=17.5\ m$

$\Rightarrow$ Radius of circle $( r)=\frac{d}{2}$

$=\frac{17.5}{2}$

$=8.75\ m$

$\therefore$ Circumference of circle$=2\pi r$

$=2\times \frac{22}{7}\times 8.75$

$=55\ m$

Thus, the circumference of the circle is $55\ cm$.
