Find the circumference and area of the circle whose radius is $14\ cm$.
Given: Radius of the circle is $14\ cm$.
To do: To find the circumference and area of the circle.
Solution:
Radius of the circle $r=14\ cm$
$\therefore$ Circumference $=2\pi r$
$=2\times\frac{22}{7}\times14$
$=88\ cm$
Area of the circle $A=\pi r^2$
$=\frac{22}{7}\times 14\times14$
$=616\ cm^2$
Thus, the circumference and area of the circle are $88\ cm$ and $616\ cm^2$ respectively.
