Find the area and perimeter of the parallelogram:

"

Given: A parallelogram with adjacent sides 14 cm and 6 cm, with height 12 cm.

To find: Here we have to find the area and perimeter of the given parallelogram.

Solution:

Base of the parallelogram = 6 cm

Height of the parallelogram = 12 cm

Area of a parallelogram = base $\times$ height;

Area = 6$ \times $12

Area = 72 cm2

Perimeter of a parallelogram, P = 2(a $+$ b);

Where a and b are sides:

Perimeter = 2(14 $+$ 6)

Perimeter = 40 cm

So, area and perimeter of the given parallelogram is 72 cm2 and 40 cm respectively.
