Find the angles of a triangle which are in the ratio 2: 3: 4.
Given :
The angles of a triangle are in the ratio 2:3:4.
To do :
Let the angles of the triangles be 2x,3x, and 4x.
Solution :
We know that,
The sum of the angles in a triangle is 180°.
Therefore,
$2x+3x+4x = 180°$
$9x = 180°$
$x = \frac{180°}{9}$
$x = 20°$
The angles of the given triangle are $2(20)° = 40°, 3(20)° = 60° and 4(20)° = 80°$.
Therefore, the angles of the triangle are 40°, 60°, 80°.
