Find the actual sale price of the following items
a) computer cost price is equal to my Rs.38,000 GST equals 8% .
b)sofa set equals two cost price is equal to me Rs.12,600 GST6 percent.

To do:  Find the actual sale price of a) and b)

Solution:

a) 

Cost of computer = Rs 38000

GST on the computer is 8%

Cost price of computer = Rs.38,000

GST rate = 8%

GST charged = 38,000 $\times\frac{8}{100}$

GST charged = 3040

Actual sale price of computer= Cost price $+$ GST

= 38000 $+$ 3040

=Rs 41,040

b)

Cost price of sofa= Rs.12,600

GST rate = 6%

GST charged = 12,600 $\times\frac{6}{100}$

GST charged = Rs. 756

Actual sale price of Sofa = Cost price $+$ GST

= Rs.12,600 $+$ 756

=Rs 13,356
