Factorize:$(x + 2) (x^2 + 25) - 10x^2 - 20x$

Given :

$(x + 2) (x^2 + 25) - 10x^2 - 20x$

To do :

We have to factorize the given expression.

Solution :

$(x + 2) (x^2 + 25) - 10x^2 - 20x = (x + 2) (x^2 + 25) - 10x(x + 2)$

$= (x + 2) [x^2 + 25 - 10x]$

$= (x + 2) [(x)^2 - 2 \times x \times 5 + (5)^2]$

$= (x + 2) (x - 5)^2$

Hence, $(x + 2) (x^2 + 25) - 10x^2 - 20x = (x + 2) (x - 5)^2$.
