Factorize:$ x^{2}+y-x y-x $

Given :

\( x^{2}+y-x y-x \)

To do :

We have to factorize the given expression.

Solution :

$x^2 + y – xy – x = x^2-x-xy + y$

$= x(x- 1)-y(x- 1)$

$= (x – 1) (x – y)$

Hence, $x^2 + y – xy – x = (x – 1) (x – y)$.
