Factorize 3xy - 2 - 2x + 3y

To do:  Factorise the expression

Solution:

$3xy - 2 - 2x + 3y$

=$ 3xy + 3y - 2 - 2x$

= $3y(x + 1) -2(x + 1)$

= $(x + 1)(3y - 2)$

So $3xy - 2 - 2x + 3y =  (x + 1)(3y - 2)$
