Factorise $x^2-(x-z)^2$.

Given:

Given expression is $x^2-(x-z)^2$.

To do:

We have to factories the given expression.

Solution:

$x^2-(x-z)^2=[x+(x-z)][x-(x-z)]$ (Since $a^2-b^2=(a+b)(a-b)$)

$=(2x-z)(z)$

Factorisation of the expression $x^2-(x-z)^2$ is $(2x-z)(z)$.
