Solution:
$F\ +\ V\ -\ E\ =\ 2$
Putting values of $F$ and $V$:
$20\ +\ 12\ -\ E\ =\ 2$
$32\ -\ E\ =\ 2$
$-\ E\ =\ 2\ -\ 32$
$-\ E\ =\ -\ 30$
$E\ =\ 30$
So, value of $E$ is 30.
