1 billion $=$ 1000 million $=$ 1,000,000,000
1 million $=$ 10 lakhs
Therefore,
2 billion $= 2 \times 1000$ million $=$ 2000 million $= 2000 \times 10$ lakhs $= 20000$ lakhs.
2 billion $=$ 2,000,000,000.
