Explain, why do mountaineer carry an Oxygen cylinder with them?

Mountaineers carry oxygen cylinders with them at high altitude so as to restore normal breathing. As we move up, at Higher Altitudes, the density of air becomes less. This means that a lesser amount of oxygen molecules occupy the same volume of air. Therefore, oxygen in the air becomes insufficient for normal breathing. As a result, mountaineers suffer from dizziness.
