Explain the human respiratory system.
The respiratory system is a biological system that consists of specific the organs and parts of the body involved in an exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide. The human respiratory system consists of nose, larynx, pharynx, trachea, bronchi, and lungs. Respiration is an exchange of gases between an organism and its atmosphere.
The oxygen is inhaled by the nostrils which pass through the trachea to the lungs. The blood carries oxygen to cells, the cells get oxidized and obtain energy. The carbon dioxide released is taken out of the body in opposite direction.
