Explain how hummingbird ingests food ?
Hummingbird has sharp and long beak which helps it to reach deep into a flower.
The long and thin tongue of hummingbird licks the nectar from flowers. Very less amount of nectar goes into the mouth in one lick. However, the tongue of hummingbird can lick up to thirteen times per second.
