Explain friction as a necessary evil.
The frictional force causes a lot of losses in general upkeep and wear and tear of machinery. Hence it is considered evil.
But almost all crucial tasks cannot be carried out without the presence of friction. Hence, it is considered a necessary evil. eg. if you wear a shoe and there is no friction then you'll fall. But since there is friction it causes wear and tear of your shoes in the long term
