Explain vegetative propagation by vegetative part like roots, leaves, stems, with an example.

Vegetative propagation is an asexual process in which plants can grow and reproduce from stems, roots and leaves.

The new plants can grow from the detached part (stems, roots and leaves) of the plant because it has enough cells to divide and produce a new individual.

It is manually done by using vegetative propagation methods such as grafting and budding

Example of Vegetatively propagated plants through stem- Mint, Rose, and Sugarcane.

Example of Vegetatively propagated plants through roots- Sweet potato, Yam, and Dahlia.

Example of Vegetatively propagated plants through leaves- Begonia and Bryophyllum.
