Evaluate the following:

(a) $(5)^{3}$
(b) $(20)^{3}$

Given :

The given terms are $(5)^{3}$ and $(20)^{3}$.

To do :

We have to evaluate the given terms.

Solution :

(a) $(5)^{3}$

 $(5)^{3}= 5 \times 5 \times 5$

          $ = 25 \times 5$

         $ = 125$

Therefore, the value of  $(5)^{3}$ is 125.

(b) $(20)^{3}$

We know that, $(a\times b)^3 = a^3 \times b^3$

 $(2 \times 10)^{3} = 2^3 \times 10^3$

          $= 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 10 \times 10 \times 10 $

          $ =  8 \times 1000$

         $ = 8000$

Therefore, the value of  $(20)^{3}$ is 8000.
