Evaluate :$(m+3) (m-5)$

Given :

The given expression is $(m+3)(m-5)$

To find :

We have to evaluate the given term.

Solution :

We know that,

$(a+b) \times (c+d) = a\times(c+d) + b \times (c+d)$

Therefore,

$(m+3)(m-5) = m(m-5)+3(m-5)$

                     $= m(m)-m(5)+3(m)-3(5)$

                    $=m^2-5m+3m-15$

                    $=m^2-2m-15$.

$(m+3)(m-5) =m^2-2m-15$.

Therefore, after evaluation of the expression $(m+3)(m-5)$ we get $m^2-2m-15$.
