Evaluate each of the following when $x=2, y=-1$.$ (2 x y) \times\left(\frac{x^{2} y}{4}\right) \times\left(x^{2}\right) \times\left(y^{2}\right) $

Given:

\( (2 x y) \times\left(\frac{x^{2} y}{4}\right) \times\left(x^{2}\right) \times\left(y^{2}\right) \)

To do:

We have to evaluate the given expression when $x=2, y=-1$.

Solution:

$(2 x y) \times(\frac{x^{2} y}{4}) \times(x^{2}) \times(y^{2})=2 \times \frac{1}{4} x \times x^{2} \times x^{2} \times y \times y \times y^{2}$

$=\frac{1}{2} \times x^{1+2+2} \times y^{1+1+2}$

$=\frac{1}{2} x^{5} y^{4}$

$=\frac{1}{2}(2)^{5}(-1)^{4}$

$=\frac{1}{2} \times 32 \times 1$

$=16$
