Draw an angle of measure $ 45^{\circ} $ and bisect it.

To do:

We have to draw an angle of measure $45^o$ and bisect it.

Solution:

Steps of construction:

(i) Let us draw a line $l$ and mark a point $O$ on it.

(ii) Now, by placing a protractor on the point $O$ let us mark a point $P$ at a measure of $45^o$.

(iii) Now, by taking compasses with any radius let us draw an arc from point $O$ and mark the point of intersection of this arc with line $l$ as point $A$ and point $B$.

(iv) Now, by taking compasses with the length of the radius greater than the length from point $A$ and point $B$ let us draw two arcs inside $\overline{OP}$ and mark the point of intersection of these arcs to each other as point $C$.

(v) Now, let us join point $O$ and point $C$. Therefore, the required bisector of an angle of measure $45^o$ is formed.
