Draw an angle and label it as $\angle BAC$. Construct another angle, equal to $\angle BAC$.

To do:

We have to draw an angle and label it as $\angle BAC$ and construct another angle, equal to $\angle BAC$.

Solution:

Steps of construction:

(i) Draw an angle $BAC$.

(ii) Draw a line $DF$.

(iii) With centres $A$ and $D$ draw arcs of equal radius which intersect $AC$ at $L$, $AB$ at $M$ and $DF$ at $P$.

(iv) Cut off $PQ = LM$ and join $DQ$ and produce it to $E$.

$\Rightarrow \angle EDF =\angle BAC$.
