Draw a line segment of the length 5.3 cm and draw its perpendicular bisector.

To do: Draw the perpendicular bisector of a line segment of length 5.3 cm

Steps:

1. Draw line segment PQ of 5.3 cm

2. Take P as a center and radius more than or equal to the line segment draw arcs on the upper and the lower half of line segment PQ

3. Now take Q as a center and with the same radius draw arcs on the upper and the lower half of line segment PQ. Where the arcs intersect name it X and Y

4. Join X and Y
