Does moon do rotation and if it does, how much time it takes to complete one rotation?

Yes, the moon rotates about its own axis. It takes approximately 27 days for the moon to rotate once on its axis. Therefore, the moon does not seem to be spinning and appears to stand still for the people on the earth. This is called synchronous rotation.
