Do every light consists 7 colours?


Every white light when passed through a prism, dispersion takes place and we observe bands of seven colours.

Light is considered white by the human visual system when the light coming to the eye stimulates all three types of colour-sensitive cone cells in the eye in roughly equal amounts.
