Do all the rational numbers have terminating decimal expansion?

Decimal expansion of rational numbers:

  • A terminating decimal is a decimal that ends. It is a decimal with a finite number of digits.
  • The rational numbers in their decimal representation can be classified into two categories.
  • The first is terminating decimals where the digits terminate and the second is recurring decimals where the digits keep repeating after regular intervals.
