Difference between Vascular and Non-Vascular plants.


Vascular plants are the plants with lignified tissues for the conduction of water and minerals present in the plant body.

They are also known as tracheophytes.

Examples: Conifers, ferns, flowering and non-flowering plants, etc.

Non-vascular plants are the plants mostly present in damp and moist areas and lack specific vascular tissues.

They are also known as bryophytes.

 Examples: Mosses, liverworts, and hornworts.
